The European Bone and Joint Infection Society (EBJIS) recognised an allograft study conducted by Dr. D. Link from EMCM, Leader Biomedical Group company, at their 33rd annual meeting.
The allograft study focused on the osteoconductive properties of cancellous bone grafts loaded with Tobramycin or Vancomycin. Dr. Link demonstrated that impregnation of bone chips with these antibiotics do not adversely affect their osteoconductive properties.
